ALGO TRADING

Algorithmic Trading Platform

Research systematic trading strategies using market data, predefined rules, backtesting and supported automation workflows.

What is algorithmic trading?

Algorithmic trading is the use of software and predefined rules to analyze market conditions and perform systematic trading actions. Rules may cover indicators, price levels, entry and exit conditions, position sizing and risk controls.

Algo trading can reduce repetitive manual monitoring and make a strategy easier to test and measure. The quality of a strategy still depends on its assumptions, data, execution conditions and risk management.

  1. Define a trading hypothesis and rules.
  2. Collect and inspect appropriate market data.
  3. Backtest the strategy using historical data.
  4. Review performance, drawdown and assumptions.
  5. Paper-test or otherwise validate the workflow where appropriate.
  6. Connect supported execution APIs only after understanding the risks.
